I guess it's time to say so long to the Movie Maniacs from the AQ Natalie Portman Board.
We have been sharing this forum space thanks to Russ 37 for almost 2 years now, after our site shut down. Since hanging out on the Natalie board has become my main entertainment over the last two years, it is greatly appreciated.
The AQ board and myself personally owe a big thank you to Bishop and Severen, who contributed $$ to the community chest to help us renew our gold status at ezboard. And just in time. As you know it is really expensive, and we were not able to raise enough funds to renew on time. But Bishop and Severen came through like real champs. Bloody Thumb and other Movie Maniacs offered to donate too. This was generous and much appreciated, especially since they were leaving to your new site and would not benefit from the gold membership at Base 37. :clink
Despite some bitter words spewed on both of our parts, I hope there will remain no hard feelings between the admins at Base 37. I know that for myself, I was mainy angry at renewing with ezboard for $171 for only 3 friggin' months
, and I let that spill into my communications to my neighbors. I apologize for that -- it is bad diplomacy.
