Hey, looks like I can post here... cool.

Long story short: it's the midle of ramadan and I got spooned by a car or a truck which was obviously beeing driven by a drunkard. I was lucky enough to be jn the right place to have people look over me and call the right number. The place where I landed up is an expert in the type of care I needed: my left leg is shattred and my brain was suffering from a blood clot for the entire of the operation.

Well, by the time they had me home (you know, now that I think about it, I can't even remember it) I must have still been in the ambulance car which they give to everyone returning from the hospital. The only thing that I recall home are the lousy food twigs that they give you to shuv down your throat so that they could inject more of their liquid in you; all for a good cause of course. The best thing that I have from all of this is the memory (of my relatves--seriously) and --Jackie. More on her later but she's Indian of mixed race with foreign parents. To tell you the truth, at first I just wanted her because she was so fine; but now I want her for who she is: this kind and caring individual who can be the tough girl too, when the time arises. Best part is she came to see me in the hospital and had been talking to me for the past two weeks--even though she's out of town..... (and wee've known each other now for more than two years and counting........... )

Hey Real, I almost forgot to congratulate you on achieving something on which we all failed (I think; except Cal of course; and the few lucky others who I'm forgetting--congrats to you too). Has Rick been on the list yet... I'm hoping he has (for her sake too) if not his;). You know the one I'm talking about... the one who you'd posted about somewhere in here... how is she. Give her my regards and I hope she had a nice time... I know you must've;)

I am so jealous of you guys right now: I'm stuck with this guy who wants to get in touch with his girlfriend and is breaking my head to do so... woo! is me: really; you don't know the agony I'm in... I had to literally fight for the right to use the phone... well not literally... but close.

What are you guys upto aqmb'ers...

Let's see, it's ten o' clock in here and I still haven't planned on anything to do for the rest of the evening except for sitting in front of this stupid computer with this guy who I thinks is trying to pick up women with this thing. Boy, is he in the wrong place and there is not a thing I can tell him to change his mind... he only studied till seventh class (in a muslim 'boys' school) and his views are pretty fixed. In fact, you could call us polar opposits if you had the chance. Here he is by my side right now trying to tell me a joke... the horror. Can you imagine... not that he doesn't have his good points... like standing up to almost anyone [just give him the word]; not taking shit from anyone no mater who he is; and standing up for the folks (working for them night or day) even though he's raised his hands upon... well, I'm glad I don't have his life... he probably says the same thing too.

The Drudge of taking care of an Injured Person:

Coming back from the hospital, I'd call myself a total loon. Please don't laugh okay; but my mom and dad had a hell of a time dealing with me. Taking care of a son who's mentally not there isn't easy; I can tell you that much. And boy; was I on a trip. From what my mom tells me now I sound like a Hannibal Lecture -- on his bad days... can you believe it. I would first of all refuse to wear the thyroid that they would stick into my throat, and anyone who came even near me with it again better have a death wish on... or something similar. When they saw that the food-tube wasn't working anymore, they decided to feed me through the mouth--thank-god. That was a relief, but it started a host of other problems... like making sure I got to the bathroom on-time; that is, if I wanted to go, which could sometimes be a hassle: me tearing off the adult diapers that my pop had got me: and then, literally attacking those who'd come near me to put it back on--sorry mom and dad--truly... I'll be the good kid now that you always wanted--muah.

Hey!!!!!!!!!! It's Rick everybody (I've been sprucing you up for so long I'm gonna need time to bring you back). It's shit ain't it when something like this happens. I remember the call you're talking about and when it happened I was afraid that I had done something wrong--the shatter. In fact I was even thinking of coming down to your place (telephonically at least) and checking out; but then I remembered you must be in Sanfrancisco so I was happy for you. Did think of calling you up once or twice but then I remembered your lady friend and decided against it. How is she by the way... you guys are still together right; she looked "ravishing" in the picture you posted (which must still be up if anyone is interested; and you don't mind... and the lady of course). So... what's up ... Rick. Any new movies on the horizon? You were talking of starting a new project when we last spoke... anything on that??? Ahhh; I'm just so happy to see you now I'd be glad with anything:) I came here to write about my stupid warden-boy but you showed up... could I have asked for anything more...

More NATO vehicles torched in Peshawar

Islamabad: About 100 vehicles destined for the U.S.-led NATO forces in Afghanistan were on Monday set ablaze by heavily armed pro-Taliban militants in Peshawar, in the second such attack in as many days.

The militants stormed the Bilal container terminal after opening fire at watchmen. They then lobbed grenades and torched container trucks and other cars, including Humvee armoured vehicles, said officials.

Witnesses said trucks containing supplies and heavy equipment were destroyed in the attack. Some reports said the militants also used rockets during the strike. There were no reports of casualties in the incident. Senior Superintendent of Police Kashif Alam told reporters that fire tenders were called in to the control the ablaze. No group claimed responsibility for the attack but authorities usually blame the local Taliban for such strikes.

The early morning raid on the container terminal came just a day after militants mounted the biggest assault on the vital military supply lines for the NATO troops, destroying over 160 vehicles in two storage facilities in the same region and killing three persons.

In a similar attack on December 1, two persons were killed and over two dozen trucks were damaged when militants attacked another depot. Peshawar has about 20 terminals that are used by trucks ferrying supplies to U.S. forces in Afghanistan. Following Sunday attack, authorities had suspended supplies to NATO forces through Peshawar for the second time in a month. Militants regularly attack and hijack NATO supply vehicles on the route to Torkham, the main crossing point on the Afghan-Pakistan border just west of the Khyber Pass. The Pakistani and Afghan Taliban have often warned drivers not to ferry supplies for NATO forces.

During Sunday raid, over 100 militants armed with rockets and heavy weapons blasted through the gates of Al-Faisal depot and Portward Logistic Terminal and torched trucks, tankers loaded with fuel and Humvee armoured vehicles.

The militants fired up to 10 rockets during the attack and used petrol and kerosene to set the vehicles on fire. A watchman and two other persons were killed in the attack.

Officials said it was the biggest attack yet on supplies being sent through Pakistan to the U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan.

U.S.-led forces fighting the Taliban in land-locked Afghanistan receive most of their supplies via Pakistan. The Pakistani Army has been engaged in a major offensive against militants in the tribal areas along the Afghan border since U.S.-backed forces toppled the Taliban regime in Kabul in 2001.

Last month, Pakistan stopped container trucks and oil tankers bound for the U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan after militants hijacked several vehicles, including Humvees, on the Pakistan-Afghanistan highway. - PTI

Where the hell is Cal, and all my other friends... Pasha: don't tell me you ditched us all... but knowing you; you must be in school or college or some thing. Why do all the good ones have to be educated... now I'm finally realizing the wise words of my mom and d&d--study son--study. For your sake; if not ours. Hell if I would've studied it would have been for their sake and mine... I'm sure I wouldn't have put my parents in (the hell hole that I have) so much financial hardship (even though they don't show it) and made it easier for them to come out of. My dad is a hard man though: nothing defeats him. Give him a child who's on his knees and he still finds an upswing in it... somewhere... somehow. He's a bit of a super-man that way... and my mom... his (under-appreciated) super-woman--toohoo.

So... where are you gals... hey???
