Posts: 7125 (05/17/99 14:09:37) Namaste (Admin) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None i thought perhaps this would be an interesting topic now if only people would show up. hahahaah. i've been to detroit portland OR buffalo miami new york city chicago(my favorite or most comfortable of them all) boston orlando and i was either at pittsburgh or philadelphia(i can't remember which one we met a sort of friend there) i might have stopped in salem? and i was in phoenix several times but that was only at the airport so that kinda doesn't count how about you????? In Oz: Sydney (cos I'm in it) Melbourne Brisbane Adelaide Canberra Hobart But I'm not sure how many of them qualify as 'big' by world standards. I prefer the smaller ones. Paul Keating once said 'Sydney is the only place to live in Australia - the rest is camping out'. Maybe that was true once but Sydney is becoming less and less attractive to live in as it gets bigger. Put it this way: I have to walk past three or four pools of vomit each day to get to work. One day, I saw all these pigeons flapping around something and it turned out they were fighting each other to eat a big chunky pool of human vomit. Yech. Cities can suck. If I went to the US I think I'd visit New York and maybe Washington. In Europe, I'd like to see Rome, Venice, Florence, Paris, and maybe Athens (just for the Acropolis ). ... to behold her is an immediate check to loose behavior; to love her is a liberal education. - Richard Steele

WOW if this were a contest, you'd definitely win. but you cheated(not really hehe) being a flight attendant. yeah same with me, sonoyta! i was in NYC a little bit before 9/11. i was there to see the seagull. i didn't visit the world trade center though that time only when i went back a while after when it was in it's, well, smooshed format. wow. cool places everybody! i'd love to go to sydney euripides. it'd be cool to see ayer's rock too. For instance, twiggy put down Omaha and Des Moines, neither of which I would hardly consider a "big city". So, until that's defined for me, I'll stick with the ones that obviously would make the cut: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago (it's like a bigger, dirtier version of Minneapolis), Seoul South Korea, and Beijing China.
