Ahh, yes. I knew "Lemon Incest" sounded familiar.  The main Serge song I'm familiar with is the cover of "69 Anne rotique" by Luscious Jackson (from Aint Nuthin' But A She Thang). And I remember listening to a Mick Harvey tribute album a while back. Not very many people in the USA know about Gainsbourg. I've heard about the scandalousness of the guy, but I can't remember ever hearing any songs by him, just covers. He is very obscure in the US -- not as famously famous as in France or Europe. |

I certainly think you are on good ground to lock snoopy's third "delusional" thread.
However, the following AQMB member right states that you must precisely cite the violated rule or guideline: 1-Anonymous deletions of posts or threads are not allowed.Any moderator or administrator who has edited, locked or deleted a message must immediately explain his reason for doing so. The explanation must precisely cite the violated rule(s) or etiquette guideline(s). Again ... Well Bluejay I would say Snoop for sure violated guideline #2 regarding redundant threads. I believe at the time of that third thread, his other 2 were still both on page one. And I'd say #3 was also violated, as it is my belief he posted it just to amuse himself. It'd be like me starting a thread called "What's the purpose of armpit stench?"
And while I do not care, that thread vanished from the board by the next day after I locked it. I would request that whichever mod deleted it take credit for it, since we can't really have anonymous deletions, even of lame ass topics like Snoop's. twig thank you for reading my post

Seriously? lol Okey dokey, TMAN. In fact, I've seen that exact thread title a coupla times. You're correct that it is not against any rules to start a thread called that.  A condition: you get to moderate the thread in order to remind people about the rules and to edit/delete when they post her real name.  (joking)Hmmm. I enabled the ez supporter link so that members can become ezsupporters. It's $7 for six months and you get no ads.
