1. What door do you wish you never opened?
--Wish I hadn't opened my ex-roommate's door without knocking first. Ick.
2. What is your most obsessive thought?
--Trying to figure out what in the world drives me. What my hope in life is. I'm lost. And I think about it all the time.
3. Where is your favorite place in the world, and why?
--It's a tie for me. My bathroom, where I can relax while taking a dump, without fear that some jackass is going to come in and take twenty minutes to pee
while I madly try to surpress a trumpet like fart. And, I can sit and do a cross-word or read comic books. It's the only time of the day where I'm
not thinking about food, sex, or problems. The other is when I was in college, the practice room. I've rarely felt as comfortable as I do when I'm in
a small, square, whitewashed room with nothing but a music stand, piano, and chair.
4. What's the one thing your parents don't understand about you?
One thing, eh? I'll see if I can narrow it down. For my mother, I think it's hardest for her to understand that I'm not Korean and from Korea.
For my father, I'd say that it's that I don't hate him, despite the past and his short-comings.
5. If you could relive a single day or moment, what would it be?
--I remember when I was 4 years old, I spent a day with my grandmother in Seattle. She watched cartoons and baseball with me, made some goodies, and even let
me play with her magnifying glasses (which I later used when I was older to fry bugs). I specifically remember having fun shaking up a 2 liter of cola, and
she just warned me that if I kept it up, it'll explode, but I had fun looking at the bubbles form. Of course, I forgot about it, and later, I opened it
(in the sink, thankfully), and got sprayed some. Hehehe...that was a good day.
6. What were the strangest circumstances under which you have been intimate?
--My sophmore year of high school, I went to a halloween party dressed up as Eric Draven from the movie "The Crow". I even bought a wig. While at
this party, only the guys I came with knew who I was. Later that night, a girl I knew and thought was a bitch started flirting with me heavily. Of course, I
took advantage of this, and ended up making out with her. The only way I got through it was knowing I'd put it in the freezer for later use (which I
did....mwuahaha!).
7. Under what circumstances have you been closest to death?
--I've probably been excruciatingly close on numerous times, but didn't even realize it. But the time that I can remember was when I was a teen and
the hormones were screwing with me along with growing up with a completely f'd up family. I came real close to doing it myself a couple times.
8. What is the most gracious act of kindness you have witnessed?
--What I consider kind is when someone does something for someone else to whom they owe nothing and stand nothing to gain from. It's very rare. In fact,
rare enough that I can't think of one right now.
9. What is the worst betrayal you have ever experienced?
--When I was a teenager in my f'd up family, they told me they were considering sending me to Boys Town (an orphanage). I thought they were serious, and
took it as such. I didn't speak to either one of them for over a year beyond "yes", "no", etc. Later, my mother told me they had no
intention of doing that, but rather, wanted to use the threat to try to get me to behave. Still, I never felt quite so betrayed in my life.
10. What is the most bizarre thing you have seen or done?
My mom, while she and I were in Korea, gave me cow-brain stew, which I ate (but didn't finish). However, I didn't know it was cow-brain until about
five years after the fact.
11. What is the greatest risk you have ever taken?
--Believing someone when they told me that they loved me.
12. What is your earliest, most vivid memory?
--Haha! Sitting on the toilet, taking a shit. Then, realizing that there was no toilet paper, I used my father's wash-cloth that he uses for shaving.
Somehow, I had trouble, and shit ended up on the wall, the on the toilet, and the edge of the tub (along with the washcloth). I remember my dad came in after
he realized I had been in there for a while, and I remember clearly the expression of "OMG, what happened in here?" Hehehehe....
13. What is the most meaningful "I love you" spoken by you or to you?
--They're all meaningful, because they're all so rare.
14. What was the single most terrifying moment of your life?
--The first night I spent away from home in my college dorm. Very weird, very lonely.
15. If you have experienced a moment of sudden faith or loss of faith, what prompted it?
--I haven't experienced this.
16. If you could take back one thing you have done, what would it be?
--Bullying my sister as an after effect of being bullied myself.
17. What is your greatest talent or accomplishment?
--I haven't really accomplished much, given my age. As far as talent goes, I have a knack for music, Soul Calibur fighting games, and a few other things.
Unfortunately, I'm not talented enough at anything to gain from it financially.
18. What is the most joyful moment you have experienced?
--I performed in front of some freshmen, sophmores and their parents during my senior year for a concert that needed some filler. The music teacher at my
highschool asked if I'd play, so I did. It was a piece that I liked and had played many times. When I performed, I had my eyes closed all the way through,
but I felt everyone's eyes, attention, and feeling towards me and what I was expressing. I have rarely felt so connected to an audience. I remember when I
finished, I heard someone in the front row mutter "beautiful" and I got a standing O. I've only once been prouder playing, and never as joyous,
for I knew...I knew that what I expressed was felt.
19. What is the most painful moment you have experienced?
Physically--I'd say that's a tie between an elbow dislocation, a really bad ankle sprain (the initial pang is borderline unbearable...sprained right
ankle on both sides...swelled up to the size of an orange and my whole foot looked black, purple, yellow, and blue. Couldn't walk right for nearly two
weeks), and an extremely bad sinus infection. I got painkillers in all three.
Emotionally--When I saw my mother's face after she found out that grandma had died. And how I felt at the funeral looking at her for the last time.

Ok, so here's my question for myself: You're in your bedroom. If there are windows, they've been sealed so you can't get out. In five
minutes, your door will open and 1000 rabbits who are not afraid of you will come in and try to kill and eat you. What do you do to prepare yourself, and do
you think you'll survive?
My answer: I would immediately remove the cross-bar in my closet and prepare to use it as a bludgeoning weapon. I would also put on as many layers on my
lower torso as possible, and also put on several scarves to protect my neck. I would also have my oboe knives on me in case it came down to that. Other than
that, I would hope for the best. And yes, as long as they don't swarm me all at once, I believe I could kill 1000 bunnies.
